    1) Did you ever play football. If so, at what level? Played soph through senior year of HS. Two years at Holy Cross, final year at Guerin. 2) Do you have children or relatives that played? If so, at what level? I have a cousin that played at Carmel Catholic about 6 years after I played...

If you could bring back one program....

Just having some offseason fun here. If there was one, either defunct or since consolidated, program that you could revive to take the field as an 11man program in the fall of 2024, who would it be and why?

    Tell us something….

Got another fun one. So it's the morning after prom my senior year at Guerin. We have a baseball DH that day starting at 9 am. Woof. I'm a utility player, but our starting catcher no shows. So I get tossed behind the plate after a long, sleepless night. First pitch I totally whiff on and it...

    Tell us something….

I was a bench warmer at HC/Guerin...2 career catches. 1 went for a TD on Homecoming against Gordon Tech. We lost and my wife (gf at that time) missed it as she'd left at halftime to get ready for that evening's dance. 🤣

Wayyyyyy to early 2024 programs to lookout for!

Seeing @EdgyTim post the interview with Jeff Boyer. I'm going to go out on a limb and say Andrew Talbert and the Byron Tigers will be one to watch in 2024

Legislations to outlaw tackle football before 14

I've coached and played, so I can see both sides of this argument. I started playing as a sophomore, had no experience and was extremely behind fundamentally. Never really caught up. I had teammates that had started playing in 4th/5th grade whether it be at a park district or their grade...

What sport has the worst parents?

I coached youth sports at St. Celestine in Elmwood Park from 2006-2019. I did everything from soccer to basketball to volleyball to track...you name it, I did it. The parents were always the issue. It's what eventually led me to walk away. But hands down my biggest issues were always with the...

    South Dakota State

They put a whooping on my NDSU Bison back in early November. I knew they were going to be a handful all year and going back to back proves that Brookings, SD is the new power nexus in the FCS 😔 We've lost 5 in a row to the Jackrabbits I believe.

    What's best for CPS?

@Coach Percy What's a stipend like for a CPS coach? Like a HC, OC, or DC? I assume there are quite a few unpaid volunteers right.

Was there one game that put your school on the map?

https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-2000-10-14-0010140176-story.html @Quags57 can probably back me up on this one but for Holy Cross it would have to have been the win over Brett Basanez and St. Viator in 2000.
