    It was late 2002 and I just turned 18. Our baseball team just lost an heartbreaker in 17 innings. A walk-off HR cleared LF and hit our coach's windshield. It was then I learned a very valuable lesson in life: You can save a bunch of money by switching to Geico.

    @EdgyTim Another suggestion, maybe you aren't for this- but was thinking possibly getting some officials to go on a podcast? Maybe 1 or 2...could ask about their experiences- it could be a platform to sell officiating to newcomers, raise awareness to anyone else. Could be good for recruitment...

    JJ McCarthy to draft

    As a Michigan fanatic I'm sad to see him go but he deserves it. He'll go 1st round. He's smart enough to handle pro game. Skills need more refining, but, he has proven doubters wrong a lot lately. Imagine NFL guys will be interested in his ability to simply WIN.

    Santa did deliver a talented freshmen QB transfer from Provi to LWW just recently. That's a good start for after next fall to build up on. Hopefully Santa delivered a top end WR and more game wrecking lineman for the Warriors.
