I agree that the OC spot is now of huge importance. These 2 guys are must interviews. Ken Dorsey, Bills QB coach/passing game coordinator Mike Kafka, Chiefs QB coach/passing game coordinator

If an offensive minded coach was hired as HC, they would still have an OC and QB coach to help Fields so I'm not sure I buy that the HC would not be able to give the time and energy to balance all 3 phases.

WTF? A defensive coordinator to help develop Justin Fields? I'm trying to temper my initial reaction but this seems like typical Bears stupidity. This has Bill Polian written all over it. "Eberflus began his coaching career at Toledo in 1992 and spent nine years with the Rockets as a student...

Let's hope his first name and last initial are all that he has in common with the last guy.

I admit that my first reaction was the same as your post. Buffalo lost because they had a defensive collapse in the final 13 seconds of regular time and then again in OT. That said, from purely an entertainment perspective, I am intrigued by the idea of allowing both teams to possess the...

I just hope it’s not a DC. I still believe this team needs an offensive leader especially one that can develop Fields.

I realize I’m complaining about something that isn’t go to change any time soon. It is somehow therapeutic to do so but we are all stuck with what we have for owners so I guess that luck is probably all we can hope for

So....copied from the internet. Who's your guy? Jim Harbaugh: The former Bears quarterback and current head coach at the University of Michigan has reportedly not ruled out a return to the NFL. Seems like a long shot he'll leave, but he did get drafted by Chicago in 1987. Byron Leftwich: The...

Are you and Stormfire new to Chicago? Sorry to be a smart ass but I'm not buying into the thought that the Bears have just "not been lucky enough" for many many decades or that "hey look how many other teams haven't won a SB" as evidence that it is based largely on luck. Often times, you make...

Perhaps this is true. None of us will ever know but that brings on other tough to answer questions: 1) how many more games would they have won? 2) did they win those games because of Nagy or in spite of him? For me, it wasn't necessary all about wins (though that does matter). It was also...

Nagy was good his first year when he came in and showed some creativity. Since then, his play calling was horrific, he showed terrible clock management on many occasions and a complete lack of ability to adjust to what an opposing defense was doing at halftime or at any point during games. I...

George McCaskey's press comments tell you everything you need to know. He's still chairman and Ted is still a key part of the search team for the next GM and coach. They think fans are incredibly stupid because they want us to believe that since now that the new GM will report directly to...
