Transfer portal back open - local kids

Really surprised about Bostick. Looked like he was poised to be a bigger player there - obviously he didn't see it the same. Wish him great success wherever he goes.

Biggest Question for your fav conference in 2024?

PowerI66 - surprised you haven't weighed in on Fremd's expected resurgence this fall. I think they're a 6-3 kinda team and make the playoffs for the first time in years. Otherwise- Barrington will live and die by big plays like they often do. I don't think Piepert has the crew around him he...

    The U comes through!

They played twice. Warren won once by 1 and Palatine won once by 2. About as evenly matched as you can be - just Palatine won the latter one. Won't lie though, it's exhilarating!

Just got done working.. you may have talked me into it :)

    The U comes through!

They already played once this season, Warren won by 1 point, 57-56.. so don't know if I'd put money on that prediction

    The U comes through!

Need some other channel to pick up the Super Sectional @ NIU between Palatine and Warren :p The football team didn't live up to expectations, but at least the basketball team did :)

    Tell us something….

I played catch one Saturday afternoon with multiple members of the 1984 World Champion Detroit Tigers. One of my little league coaches in 7th and 8th grade was Tigers first baseman Dave Bergman. Me and my friends ran down to the infield wall while players were warming up to say "Hi". He saw us...

    Your First Favorite Player

I was always a lineman, even in grade school, so know the context for my pick.. Wally Chambers

    South Dakota State

Sorry.. gonna come off a real d*ck probably for bringing this up, but Jesse was an LB not a safety. Part of the jersey #32 lineage.

What are you getting the program you follow for Christmas?

Ha! I was gonna say "blinders so they don't read press clippings" and "to get a chip back on their shoulder".

    Favorite Level of Football?

I'd agree with that, and I'd also add non-D1 college ball. Been watching the D3 playoffs and it's some really excellent football and you know these guys are doing it for the love of the game and not scholarships.

    LWE 49 Barrington 6 early 4:00 4th qtr

I think the Barrington QB has now been picked off as many times in this first half as he was in the previous 12 games

    Tough loss tonight

Barrington will graduate pretty much every name you heard last night except the QB too. Van Ness, Nazha, Schmidt, Fitzpatrick are all seniors.

Ya had to go and mention this....

    Swagger @ Barrington

Yeah. He's the Freshman 'A' head coach, and I think he coaches basketball there too. I've seen the last couple of freshman games, and was actually kinda surprised he was such a hothead on the sidelines (:P)

    Feeto's Friday Upset Special.....

Is picking Naz to be the first state champion with 5 losses still an upset?

    Swagger @ Barrington

Wasn't Donatucci on the Hoffman Estates staff at least when they went to the semis in 2017? I know he stepped down as HC a year too soon, but thought he was still helping Heise?

    Swagger @ Barrington

Barrington rarely does that. Maybe Van Ness? That's more a Palatine thing actually. PHS had 7 sophomores start on varsity in 2022 and six this year. Second best player by the end of the season was a sophomore
