RIver Hawk is about a 1 minute drive from my "weekend home", its not bad, but not my fav.. I prefer the old Basin.. When I was a young buck we used to hit Edwins late since they were open later than the Kankakee County bars

All Quiet on the Edgy Front

Typical mentality of the message boards, wants to ban anyone that doesn't share the same opinion as theirs... I know a bunch of people that stay away from here because they know its mostly suburban private school posters that feel the IHSA is the devil.. I am just shocked that close minded...

All Quiet on the Edgy Front

Always a good idea to look at how its working, while it is working in football, maybe it is not in the other sports.. maybe the correct thing to do is get rid of the SF and the multiplier waiver, all private schools get 1.65

All Quiet on the Edgy Front

And that is the key problem here, while you may think I am wrong, small downstate school people agree with me.. Heck, the IHSA agrees with me..

Class 3A Teams to Beat in 2018?

Be a good idea. They are like AC, need to increase enrollment or risk closing the doors
  19. B

Class 3A Teams to Beat in 2018?

Current enrollment is 540, think last year the cutoff was 558... so will be right on that bubble again... obviously competing with schools of 500 is a lot easier than playing schools of 900.. but with Coal City, Wilmo and Manteno on the schedule, could be a 5 or 6 win season.

Class 3A Teams to Beat in 2018?

And if you would have taken the time to read that thread entirely, you would have seen that my comment was tongue in cheek when someone said that multiplier should be adjusted based on ACT scores..
