This game and the Jon Scheyer Glenbrook N hoops game in the Proviso West tourney were the two greatest high school sporting events I’ve ever witnessed.

Why is it that the only sport that people claim Catholic schools have an advantage is football? When was the last time a Catholic school won a basketball state title in the highest class? St Joe’s in the 90s? Yet no outrage.
No sensitivities or backpedaling at all. Just laser focused on the topic of this Hinsdale team. Not where I went, or where my kids went, or who I typically pull for.....Just this great particular team that I witnessed. And Yes, we can hug it out!
Yeah, I wasn’t talking about parents in a tavern of a team 4 years ago nor football programs in general, I was talking about the 22 kids that I saw last night. Talented group that played extremely well against a highly ranked and well coached GBW team.

Valid question, however there are 14 other starting positions on a team. A last minute turnover stopped what looked like probable OT or an outright win against a pretty good Warren team. That's why they play the games, USD....
