    Ref question

Actually Mr. King MJ the rule you have is technically called a chop block. As far as a block below the waist it can happen by both the defense and the offense. It has been a rule for the whole 30 years I have been officiating . They just have tweeked the "tackle box" a few times

Two referee questions from plays from games this weekend

Look at it this way. If he is running, like a rugby kicker. He is a runner until he becomes a kicker. If the defender has started his charge to tackle the player and then he kicks it he is not guilt of roughing the kicker

Reminds me of a certain school that I did a baseball sectional at a few years back. The restroom they had us use we walked through this storage room that had to have 20-25 cases of Miller Lite in it. Plus 10-15 cases of other brands of beer

    MAYBE?

I'm afraid the problem is going to get a whole lot worse in the future. The pay scale has been behind the times for so long it's pathetic. Anything they do to fix the problem is too late. Like closing the barn door after the horses have left.

    Fenwick 28 Nazareth 17 Final

Not quite sure what you are asking. Did we have an illegal forward pass from beyond the line of scrimmage? If this is correct . It is a spot foul and a loss of down , unless after the penalty the line to gain is reached. Didn't see the play so a little more info would help.

    Battle in the Blue

Chief , Very good analysis on this play. Back judge is on the end line, he stops so the camera lens in his eyes stop also. Catch is not completed. He points to the ground to indicate that. The second photo means nothing. Can't tell if he completes the play from a still photo.
