I can't believe I'm defending MC, but they've also played an exceptional schedule thus far with the notable exception of the letdown last week. I think the D is vulnerable, but also not as bad as it looks. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets figured out by week 10

I was glad to see him in because I think he's a good back, but 30 yards in a game is not providing a spark.

The run game has been awful, and without that, it’s a consistent recipe for disaster.
My take on Caleb was, yes, he made some rookie mistakes, but just as it ever was, there are problems that go beyond QB play. The play calling at the goal line was atrocious.

Really hoping both teams will be 7-0 when they meet... Libertyville will be, LF has more work to do.

The shame of it was that they statistically completely dominated the game. They outgained Buffalo 2 to 1 (it was like 360 yards to 180) and first downs were like 24 to 9... but they kicked field goals in the red zone and turned the ball over and got what they deserved.

Still think NIU is a good football team this year. Are they great? No... we'll see how they do at NC State.

Agreed. And that’s squarely on Poles. How long does it take to see a guy can’t play.? He’s not a starting LT. He couldn’t anchor when he got here, and he still can’t. He consistently gets pushed into the QB.

It's also not balanced if you wait until the last two series to run the ball for time purposes 🤷‍♂️
