Congrats to Rita

Big win tonight!

Congrats to Rita for handling a very good 8A Sandburg team.
Congrats to Rita for coming back from a 28-point loss against her true rival and as underdogs defeating her other rival on the road.
Congrats to Rita for winning as underdogs again against a top-rated and very talented team on the road, while enduring some jabs in a "What Did We Learn" thread.

Now, the rest of your games are in Chicago! Focus on the Don!

P.S. Congrats to Feeto on his high school football acumen!

Glenwood 45 Rochester 17 final

Ok. What’s the deal here???

Rochester came in to the game playing like they were going to be handed a win. They were lethargic and looked confused. Carlson and Beal were under pressure constantly because the Rocket O-Line was porous and lazy. The Rocket D was dismantled by superior play calling by the Titans as well.

DL needs to get whatever ails them figured out. At 2-2, the Rockets are in danger of not even being playoff eligible with U-High, SHS, and SHG looming.

Credit to Coach Hay and the Titans...great win for their program!

CS8 Predictions-Week 4

All.... Congrats to QND! The rodent left at the half and that was longer then I should of stayed. It started a while back (the corn controversy) where I took pause. There comes a time you can't blame all of it on youth.... Thank God with less teams playing in Illinois that many teams can get in at 4-5. Ratsy P.S. Thanks to the QND faithfull that welcomed me at the party house tailgate for a couple of hours. P.P.S. Oy here come the Lions....

Screen to Dierre sniffed out ... poor pass, third down.

Steven Brown - a Queen of Peace sophomore - snazzy catch, ball at the 15.

To the endzone ... NO (Might have had a D hold ...) OHHHH - they dod call it.

OK - I just was not going to bitch.

Ball at the 6.

ALthoff going for the win ... two points.

goooooood!~!!!!!!!

St. Rita 31 @ St. Francis 13 Final

Well that about sums up the night for SF. Rita was impressive, they’ll make some noise in 7A. Have to imagine they’re better than the 28-0 showing against MC earlier in the year.

SF has a lot to clean up but this is why you play in the CCL. A couple years back they could cruise through games and win against an inferior opponent until IC in week 9. I expect them to bounce back like they did last year after the Fenwick loss.

Best of luck to Rita the rest of the way. One of the classiest fanbases out there.
Yes. 105-17 score-wise vs MC in the last 3 meetings. But like I said at the beginning of the season, this year is the most football talent at the school Soph thru senior year since the Kaleb-Gaughan years. And after two impressive road wins as an underdog, they should be in the top 10 in the area where St. Rita football belongs.
