My NCAA D1 Style tourney

I would take top 8 teams and "protect" them (so u don't have a LWW playing a JC round 1) and those would be your regional hosts. 4 team regionals double elim then matched with another 4 team Reg for a best of 3 to get to CWS/IHSA World Series. Obviously 2 classes only and u have to qualify for tourney only 64 make it.

"JC Regional" v winner of Rockford Boylan Regional in a best of 3

"SR Regional" v winner of DGS Regional in best of 3

Once baseball gets going in March I'd like to share with you my suggested state tournament format. A lot of other states don't play that single elimination garbage Illinois has grasped onto.
